Football Resurrection Review

Football Resurrection is a card game for two players based on the sport of football. Each player will pick his or her team from a selection of players based on their position and star rating.

Coaches then have to try and out score their opponent and win, just like real football.

The basics of this game are really simple, you add up the attack value and compere it to the defence value of all the cards in defence, the defender then can play two more cards too try and stop you from scoring, keepers count as double. That's it in it's most basic form, but with the players abilities this is where the game excels.

Each player over 2 stars has a special ability, some are counters for others, some are more powerful, but each has a colour rating for the type of ability for that player. Blue ability's are counters and these are great for nerfing your opponents best players.

So in a nut shell this is a great game with lots of different options for the gamer and different levels of play with the total stars used to build a team. The first release of 86 cards is out now and a new set is due any day, so lots to collect.

Even if you don't like CCG's this is a great sports game and it wont cost the earth to have a great team.

Out of ten: 8
